My post-secondary career started in Graphic Design. I loved the ability to be creative, use technology, communicate through visuals, and learn new skills and techniques. However, this wasn’t as rewarding as teaching and working with students. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts, and pursued a Masters of Education. I am still thankful for my experiences in Graphic Design. Graphic Design helped me strengthen my skills in communication, problem solving, collaboration, leadership, and critical thinking. It also allowed me to hone my time management and organization skills.
